The Bomb Hole Cup 2022, the inaugural event of The Bomb Hole Snowboard Podcast, was designed as a two-day competition to celebrate the snowboarding community and foster a sportsmanlike atmosphere reminiscent of team sports championships.
Day 1, “Race Day,” features a banked slalom where riders compete for the fastest time across two runs in their division.
Day 2, “Park Showdown,” showcases a jam-format freestyle competition that highlights creativity and skill across grom, amateur, and professional divisions.
After its tremendous success, the Cup has become an annual event that welcomes participants of all skill levels—from professionals to weekend warriors—offering a memorable weekend of snowboarding, competition, and camaraderie.Sponsored by: Redbull, Volcom, SPY+, Capita, Union, Slowtide, Traeger, Save a Brain, Bubs Naturals, and Brighton Resort.

Drawing inspiration from the Stanley Cup and Pittsburgh Penguins, the inaugural Bomb Hole Cup logo combines retro sports aesthetics with bold typography, distressed textures, and a nostalgic color palette. Designed to cultivate a celebratory atmosphere for the snowboard community, this classic sports look and gritty design align seamlessly with The Bomb Hole's vision for the event. This approach has enabled the Bomb Hole Cup to establish a distinct visual identity, evolving its unique personality over the years.
