Space Cadet is a snowboarding film featuring the talents of professional snowboarders Bode Merrill and Nils Mindnich.

space cadet (n.) - an enthusiast for space travel, typically a young person. OR… a person perceived as out of touch with reality, as though high on drugs.

In their new film, Bode Merrill and Nils Mindnich take both meanings a little too literally as they set off on an intergalactic adventure through time and space to find the ultimate snowboard paradise.

The film, sponsored by Backcountry, Billabong, Bomb Hole, Giro, and Salomon, premiered in Salt Lake City on November 18, 2022.

Collaborated with Bode and Nils to design a poster for their film, which was then adapted into a thumbnail and expanded into various promotional assets for digital marketing. The design embodies a vibrant sci-fi influence combined with a subtle cosmic psychedelic aesthetic, offering an otherworldly appearance that captures the film's adventurous essence and highlights the dual meaning of "space cadet."
